In the Puyallup School District, there are 24
LOCAL PTAs
Nineteen of these are affiliated with elementary schools, and four are affiliated with junior high schools. There are more than 850 local PTAs in Washington State.
All local PTAs in the Puyallup School District belong to the Puyallup PTA
COUNCIL
Currently, there are 32 PTA councils in Washington State. While not every school district has a PTA council, when there is a PTA council in a school district, all of the local PTAs in that school district are automatically part of the council.

REGION 5
The state is divided into 13 regions based on geography. Region 5 consists of the Bethel, Carbonado, Dieringer, Eatonville, Fife, Franklin Pierce, Orting, Puyallup, Sumner and White River school districts in Pierce County and the Enumclaw school district in King County.

WASHINGTON STATE PTA
The Washington State PTA is the largest volunteer association in the state. It is overseen by a volunteer board of directors. The state PTA also has a paid executive director and office staff that work out of the state office in Tacoma.
The Washington State PTA reports to the
NATIONAL PTA
based in Washington, D.C. The National PTA is the oldest and largest child advocacy organization in the country.
